Re: Bosnia

This is a great video with awesome shots of the runs. I did not realize that Bosnia had such great whitewater. Do you know if the flow is throughout the summer or only in the spring?

Re: Austria

Just got back from the Tirol trip. First run was on the lower Ötz from the Brunnau Weir down to Haiming. I did the walk up to check it out, though could not find a path with great views. As the Ötz is so large, it has many packraft-eating size holes. In the class III-IV whitewater I went for one swi...

Re: Austria

I'm an Alaskan packrafter based out of Schweinfurt, Germany. This weekend I am headed down to Tirol to do some rafting in the Oetztal (Otz River) and the Inn around the Imster Schlucht. I know both of these are very large rivers, so it is good to know that packrafts have been there before. My impres...

Re: Denali HWY-7mile lake-Eureka Creek-Delta River

I'm looking at doing this trip in August with some friends. With regard to the cabin that is spoken of at the edge of 7-Mile lake, who owns the cabin? Is it possible to reserve or just show up first come first serve? There are probably not that many people in the area until caribou hunting season pi...

Re: FS: 2009 Green Yak with Spray Deck

Hi Nick,
I'd like to buy the boat. Since I am out of town, I will have my dad (Chris) link up with you in ANC. His number is 907-244-7700.
He can either pay with check or I can send you the money via paypal.
Cheers, Erik

Re: Weekday partner

Hi John. I'm keen for weekday trips. I'm back home in Alaska for two weeks before heading off again. My schedule is fairly open. I like hiking and boating. I boat anything up to and including Class IV (have recently done Little Su and Upper Eagle River). If you or anyone else is keen for trips befor...

Re: Trip Partners/ Planning?

Hello. Let's kick up some paddling in Missouri. I'll be in Missouri from August (2010)-February (2011) stationed at Fort Leonard Wood going to Engineer OBC there. I've done a fair bit of packrafting in Alaska and New Zealand and will take my packraft with me to Missouri. The rivers there will be dif...

Re: New Zealand Trip Ideas?

I’m excited to hear that so many packrafters are heading to New Zealand! I’ve been here since last July attending graduate school at the University of Auckland and looking for people to go on trips with. I’ve headed out on a few road accessible runs with the Auckland University Canoe Club to include...
