Re: Adirondacks

Jessup River Loop Another route idea for the Adirondacks. This one is on the Jessup River and is suitable for times of low water, as the Jessup is slightly more reliable than many of the flashy creeks in the ADK. My buddy and I did the ~36mi loop in a day, but this would make a nice overnight for t...

Re: Adirondacks

High Peaks Figure 8 My buddy and I just completed this awesome trip in 3 days (5/22/20 to 5/24/20). Here's a map of the route: https://caltopo.com/m/TBJC This is a remote trip and requires a big effort and good conditions to do it in 3 days. We are pretty strong hikers and were on the move for well...

Re: New Englanders?

If anyone is still looking at this thread, shoot me an email at eric@nyara.org so we can chat. I live in NJ and I’m always looking for new trip ideas and partners on the east coast. I’m also trying to centralize as many east coast packrafters as I can in the Facebook group “Packrafting USA” so pleas...

Re: HUDSON RIVER: Source to Sea

This is awesome. I thought about this route a couple of months ago and was wondering if anyone was crazy enough to have done it. Congrats, love the adventure.

Re: Seek partners NY/NJ thru New England!

Hi All! Just bought my first packraft (Alpacka Expedition) and I live in New Jersey. Looking for other east coasters who packraft so that we can link up for trips, share beta, etc. I'm into anything, flatwater, whitewater (up to class III, I'm still a beginner), etc. Shoot me an email at eric@nyara....

Re: New Yorker looking to get started

Hey there, I'm in New Jersey and just bought my first packraft. Would love to link up to paddle sometime. Shoot me an email at eric@nyara.org or if you're on Facebook join the group Packrafting USA for a small (but growing) community of packrafters on the east coast.
