For the San Juan, we also needed some sort of pooper carrier, so we went to the hardware store and made some from PVC (5" I think). One end had a glued cap and the other had a removable gasket cap that tightened with a wingnut. Cheap and no smell. Duct tape some webbing along the length of it to mak...

Gnu Rowing Frame Pics?

Howdy, Does anybody out there have any pictures of the Gnu rowing frame? Apparently, it's a little different than the one for the Fjord Explorer (more burly for whitewater, higher oar locks). There doesn't seem to be a product page on Alpacka's site for it yet. Also, any comments on the Gnu rowframe...

Yeah, I'd like to second this question about NPS requirements regarding waste disposal, firepans, the antiquated throwable seat cushion, and all the other stuff they require a regular private raft trip to carry. Anybody have any experience doing a packraft Lee's Ferry gear check in with the ranger? ...
