Re: Deck/sprayskirt decisions

It sounds to me like the Cruiser Spray Deck is the one for you. The whitewater deck would be a pain for river crossings, and unnecessary for flat water. If you were specializing in only running lots of grade 3/4 white water, then the whitewater deck would make sense. If you want a versatile boat, th...

Re: Recommended Raft for Bikerafting?

Have never done any form of kayaking/white water rafting but would like to cross some of the inlets on vancouver island during my cycle tour around the area. I have a lot of questions and was hoping here was the place to get them answered. What boat would be best to carry a bicycle and camping gear...

Re: Paddling River Spray

Hey mate. Think you mean Loch Spey / River Spey, right? I don't know about it, but there is a write up for a section off it at http://www.ukriversguidebook.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=660:scotlandnortheast-spey&catid=32&Itemid=118 Says it's grade 2. Don't know about the rest o...

Good work Sven!

Just spotted a spelling mistake, you may want to correct:

Re: Loch Shiel and Loch Morar - highland sumertime packrafti

Thanks Chris! ianf - Directional control is fine, but you need to keep paddling, it won't track like a sea kayak! Packrafts tend to spin if you stop paddling. Mine is a Llama. I have put up the second installment (day 2) of my trip, you can read it at http://niksbikingblog.blogspot.com/2011/12/highl...

Loch Shiel and Loch Morar - highland sumertime packrafting

I have finally managed to get down my story of my solo summer bikepack and packrafting trip in the West coast of Scotland. You can see the full story so far at http://niksbikingblog.blogspot.com/ - there will be another two parts posted over the coming weeks. Here are some extracts and a couple of p...

Every time I log in here, I see spammers.

For example:

An I the only one it bothers? Shouldn't the board have a slightly more active admin?

Admin deleted my account / all my posts

Just to let you all know, the site admin deleted all my posts and account by accident, because I reported some spam and the admin messed up and deleted me instead. This means that all my posts are gone. All the threads I started have people replying to my now-non-existent 1st posts. All the threads ...
