Keystone Canyon, Lowe River

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share the video I put together of our run through Keystone canyon last summer. It was a very pushy and fast run down what is called "The coldest river in Alaska".

Enjoy!

Tonsina River @ 2250 CFS

Just finished up editing my video on our float down the Tonsina last summer. What a great trip! We had great weather and the river height was perfect at 2250 CFS.
Enjoy!

Packrafting and Kayaking the Lower Tsina Canyon

This is my footage from our run of the Lower Tsina Canyon form last summer. The flow was at 2250 CFS on the Tonsina that day which I would say was a solid medium flow. The run is quick and can be scouted from just off the highway. If you are in the area I highly recommend making this quick run. The ...

Echo Bend at 4.2'

After running echo bend for the first time last fall I have fell in love with it. It changes into a completely different river through its flow range. At low water there is only a single line where at high water you have free range of some fun drops and big holes. I didn't edit out any of the echo b...

Re: Class IV/V boat?

John I talked with the guys at PackraftAlaska and they will be adding them to their rental fleet for spring. We will have to pick some up and give them a try. I want to make sure I like them before dropping 2K on a packraft.

Little Susitna @540

I have been doing a very poor job of keeping up with editing my videos this year. It is October and I haven't made a rafting one yet. Here is the first of 10-12 that I took footage of. It is a popular run but not may pack rafters sun it at over 500. Owen and I ended up swimming one each while his gi...

Howdy,
I will be in Kenai for work Monday and Tuesday and was wondering if anyone would like to hit a run or two? I am a solid Class 4 packrafter but would be interested in running anything.

Re: North Island NZ trips

Howdy, I am on the North Island until the 10th of Feb and have my packraft with me. There is a release of the dam on the Tongorero river the weekend of the 4th. You will find lots of kayakers and rafters there....I was the only packrafter all weekend. I would not run anything above access 10 if you ...
