Re: Youtube Videos!

Ran the lower N. Fork of the Poudre this past Saturday. Fantastic run class 3+ above 250 CFS, crux was a pour over into a potential pin rock at mile 1.5. Four total portages due to river-wide barbed wire, and one river wide log that you can duck under on river left. Lots of mini-channels/choose your...

Re: Self bailing vs. spray skirt/Whitewater Deck

I'm leaning towards the same thing.

@MikeC might be the best person to give the pros and cons of this setup.

Great vid Matt. A bad day boating and hiking still trumps a good day at work. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Youtube Videos!

Mike, I'm not sure it's possible for you to post a bad video....

Definitely another inspiring adventure, and thank you for sharing.

And FWIW, I hope Roman found some peace and solace on the trip.

Re: SMALL GUIDE IN THE CENTRAL AREA OF SPAIN

Fantastic on-line guide idtejera. Now I have no excuse not to visit Spain, so the wife will be happy.

Looking forward to seeing what you guys do with planetpackrafting.

Oh, and tell Hilo Moreno (if he's the Hilo that's a contributor) that his solo packraft of the Escalante was awesome.

Re: Alpackalypse 2014

Thanks for the in-depth review Shoutdiggity, that's what I needed to hear.

While I live on a whitewater river, you've convinced me that my Yak is a perfect balance between running whitewater, and backcountry adventures. I"m not boofing 10+ footers at this point so I'll save my pennies.

Re: Alpackalypse 2014

We were lucky enough to fondle the new white water boat last winter, and made this little tribute to our packrafting evolution: https://vimeo.com/112640615 Awesome vid! I'd love to hear your review shoutdiggity compared to other Alpackas. Is it that much better than say a Yak with a seat moved forw...
