in the trips we did, I had a older deck on a llama and Dylan had an open boat. We carried our bikes and gear the same way so it did not really matter.

hey Andrew,
I have not done it but I know people with skis usually have grab loops installed in the middle of the long tube pieces and lash the skis to them.

right but you Know that a 5.8 climb frozen in ski boot is going to be hard, where as you don't really know if something is class 3 is at 400 cfs or at 2000 cfs. Like what is the base line? 5.8 sunny in tee shirt is assumed, but you don't have that with water since it is more variable.

I think with the higher end of the whitewater, that regardless of the system used there needs to be some accurate flow data. 6 mile is the perfect example. saying it is PR 4 or class 3-4 is meaningless unless you say it is that rating in July or October. But at the low levels, sure - 20 mile will al...

Don't scuff up the fabric, but do clean both the raft spot and the bottom of the grab loop with the MEK or 99% alcohol.

Erin and Hig sewed in small simple center release buckles on their decks.
these..

they blow open if they really need to according to them, but I'm sure you'd want to test out the release yourself.
