My husband and I paddled this last weekend and we had a blast. The water was running clear blue with sections of Class 2/3 continuous rapids that were a lot of fun. The trail runs all the way to the Riley Creek campground, so you can hike in from either end.

My husband and I did this trip last weekend. We chose Spruce Boy's route. Our GPS indicated 26 miles of hiking and 30 miles of floating, plus the 11 mile bike shuttle at the end. How is 20 mile now, is there a packed down trail thru the snow to the pass? Does anybody know? I would like to run it this weekend if it is possible.
