Southern Oregon

Are there any packrafters in the Southern Oregon area? Looking for someone to tackle some creeks with, since I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it alone!

My husband and I are outside Ashland, and have taken our packrafts on the Rogue, North Umpqua, Metolious, and Klamath. The wild & scenic section of the Rogue was great--snagged last minute permits, packed light, and hitchiked the shuttle back to the put in at the end.

We are thinking of going to Redwood Creek and Clear Creek this spring. I'm interested in the Chetco, Illinois, and Smith (and some coastal rivers, and Owyhee, and Donner und Blitzen, and....) at some point, but we are taking it easy this year because I'm pregnant... But be in touch, we'd enjoy meeting other packrafters!

I live in Humboldt Co, Northern California. I'm up for low-volume creek runs in Southern/Central Oregon or Northern California.
