Info on upper Kutuk

Post by casey » Sun Apr 27, 2014 2:14 pm

Does anyone have any info on the upper Kutuk in the Brooks Range? With its unique mustard-colored sediment load its an intriguing alternative to the Wolverine/Pingaluk for getting down to the Alatna, but I'm having trouble finding any accounts of it. Roman did the lowest few miles a few years back, but otherwise I'm coming up empty.
Thanks,
Casey

I waas on that trip with Roman et al a few years back.

Dirk @ Coyote Air had a lot of beta on it, as seen from the air. Calling him would be a good start.
