K-Bay fat/raft slideshow

Post by bjornolson » Thu May 30, 2013 12:24 pm

A crew of us did a fatbike/packraft traverse of the head of Kachemak Bay last weekend. Some returned to K-Silo and a few of us continued on to Grewingk Glacier.

wow, those of us that just get out for overnighters and day trips are envious of this kinda of adventure. slideshow doesn't do it justice I'm sure.

Although I would think that May is a lil bit early for this trip. I used to live up in AK and would go down to ninilchik to clam in may when the tides were low. It was always too cold to enjoy getting wet and muddy. I guess when everyone has time, can't wait on mother nature?
