Went to BMF recently , and there was a fantastic, albeit v moving movie about some guys who paddled the Congo.
Huge rapids, with amazing stoppers and holes. Campsites were difficult because of hippos and elephants on the bank.
Having traversed some amazing terrain, the leader of the group capsized, and after 2 attempts to roll, didn't come back up.
He'd been taken by a crocodile, and the moie was in memory to him......
The movie was called "Kadoma" - well worth watching before any planned trip to Africa!
